Allegany County Fair Schedule

The schedule for the 2010 Allegany County Fair is as follows:

Monday
Grange Day with a special programs in the Mini Theater beginning at 1p.m.
Evening — WNY Pro Farm Pullers will have trucks, farm tractors and street gas and diesel trucks pulling. Competition is open to locals.

Tuesday
Noon in the Mini Theater is the Baby Show.  Registration is at 11 a.m.
1 p.m. the NYS Light Weight Championship Horse Pull begins.
6 p.m. there will be Free-for-All heavy weight horse pull.

Wednesday
Noon Children’s Tractor pull takes place near the Mini Theater.
5 p.m. the 4-H Market Animal Sales begin.
6:30 p.m. the Colgate Country Showdown begins with DooZee’s Band playing before and after the competition.

Thursday
Open class animal competition begins. The 4-H competition continues in the Youth Building with the Evie Karn Memorial public presentations. The open class riding Horse Show and the open class dairy show will run all day.
2 p.m. the Allegany County Board of Legislators will meet in the Mini Theater.
7:30 is the “Boys and Bulls” bull riding competition.  The chutes are at both ends of the grandstand.

Friday
Draft horse shows at the Horse Arena.
4:30 p.m. FFA hosts chicken BBQ near the Main Building and the Mini Theater
8 p.m. Jo Dee Messina with David Nail concert.

Saturday
Open class beef show will be held along with the Farm Team competition
11 a.m. Loyal Order of the Moose talent contest in the Mini Theater,
4 p.m. Demolition Derby
