Allentown Gas Explosion Death Toll Reaches 5
1 min readALLENTOWN, PA – Five people are now reported dead following a natural gas line explosion late Wednesday night in Allentown, PA.
Authorities say a four-month-old boy, 16-year-old girl, one of her parents and a couple in their 70’s were all killed during the blast.
The victims resided in two separate townhouses.
Hundreds of people were evacuated after the explosion, and several homes burned to the ground as a result.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
