Alumni Athletics for Charities Weekend Events Set

Rick Angood, organizer of the Coudersport Falcon Alumni football announced the Calendar of Events set for this year’s alumni competition fundraisers;
Friday, June 30th (10:00 a.m.) Pompons vs. Helmets:
Come join in the CAR WASH FUNDRAISER COMPETITION between the area’s finest Coudy Cheerleaders and the Falcon Football Alumni. Car wash set to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Stoltz’s located at the Sheetz intersection along Route 6, Coudersport.
Friday, July 6th (10:00 p.m.) Alumni Open Invite Kick Off Night:
Join the area’s alumni and non-alums alike at the Hotel Crittenden for an Open Invite Night to kick off the football and basketball competitions set for Saturday, July 7th, with music, darts and pool, or even just to shoot some bull. Happy times start at 10:00 p.m. with Alumni volunteers available as designated drivers.
SATURDAY, July 7 (Noon): Men & Women’s Alumni Basketball:
There will be no cherry picking at the Coudersport alumni men’s and women’s charity basketball games to be played this Saturday, July 7 in the Coudersport High School gymnasium. These games will kick-off the Alumni Athletics for Charities weekend with a competition against the Port Allegany men & women’s alumni basketball teams.
The men’s game will consist of graduates from both schools ages 30 and over with tip off set for Noon. The women’s game will immediately follow and consists of graduates from both schools. Any Coudersport alumni that would like to participate on either team can inquire by emailing

Cost of the basketball games will be $4 for adults ($3 if 3+ non-perishable canned food items are donated), $3 for students/senior citizens, and free for pre-school and under. SATURDAY, July 7 (7:45 p.m.): Football Blast from the Past Re-Match:
Four decades of Falcon Pride Alumni will battle the team’s historic rival, the Port Allegany Gators, at the “BLAST FROM THE PAST RE-MATCH” Alumni Football Game to be held at the Coudersport Area Recreation Park (“CARP”) on Saturday, July 7th, with kickoff set for 7:45 p.m.!
Money raised by the event will benefit the CARP park renovation project. Tickets are $5/person (or) $4/person with a two (2) or more canned food donation for the local food bank, to be collected at the gates. Falcon Alumni memorabilia and concession stand refreshments will also be available at the event!
