Annual Township Convention Slated Saturday

A U.S. Congressman is among the speakers who will address township officials and guests on Saturday, Sept. 22, in Coudersport. Rep. Glenn Thompson (R-Centre County) is among those scheduled to provide legislative updates and comments at the 83rd annual convention of the Potter County Association of Township Officials, to be held at the Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department Training Center. The program convenes at 9, breaks for lunch at noon, and continues with breakout sessions at 1. Also scheduled to speak are State Rep. Martin Causer (R-McKean County) and other state officials responsible for flood plain management, environmental protection and other issues; an officer from the Pa. State Association of Township Supervisors; Judge Stephen Minor, Chief Assessor Jake Ostrom, Commissioners Doug Morley, Paul Heimel and Susan Kefover, and others.
