Area Road Closures

Heavy rains that have moved through the area overnight are causing flooding in some areas. The following state highways are closed in north central/south central PA at this time:

SR 2004 (Mackeyville Road/Furnace Road/Maple Ave./Fishing Creek Road) between Heltman Road in Porter Township to Rag Valley Road in Lamar Township, Clinton County.

SR 3002 (Loleta Road/Main Street/ Laurel Mills Road) from River Road in Spring Township to Arroyo Road in Spring Creek Township, Elk County.

Both roadways are expected to be re-opened around noon.

Drivers may also encounter roadways with water on them.  Do not attempt to drive through standing water on roadways. Water may be deeper than it appears.
