Austin Area School District Seeking Administrative Assistant/Assistant Business Manager
AUSTIN, Pa. — The Austin Area School District is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant/Assistant Business Manager position, according to a recent district posting.
The role includes preparing bi-weekly payroll, processing purchase orders, and handling accounts payable, along with additional administrative assistant duties. The district says the successful candidate should have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as solid computer and analytical abilities. An associate’s degree in business administration or accounting is listed as preferred.
Applicants will also need to provide mandatory background clearances, including Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114, and the district notes that all clearances must be dated within one year.
