Austin Centennial Raffle Tickets On Sale

The Austin 2011 Committee is selling raffle tickets to raise money for the Austin Centennial event to be held September 30 – October 2, 2011. The event will commemorate the lives and spirits of the victims and survivors of the Austin Flood of 1911.

Drawings are based on the Friday evening PA Lottery drawings from January 3 – September 30, 2011.

Each ticket gives you two chances to win a weekly $50 cash prize and a shot at the $1000 cash grand prize to be awarded at the Centennial Event in Austin on September 30, 2011. Tickets are just $20 and are available for purchase in Austin at the E.O. Austin Home and Historical Society, Big Mike’s Dairy Dine, the Austin Vets Club and the Cockeyed Cricket, in Wharton at the Wharton Store, in Coudersport at the Potter County Visitors Association, as well as from committee members.

Give someone you love a weekly chance to win and a shot at the grand prize, and show your support for the remembrance of an important piece of Potter County’s history.
