Austin Man Uninjured Following West Branch Road Crash
1 min readWEST BRANCH TWP. – Police say 64-year-old Timothy R. Foster, of Austin, PA, escaped injury after an accident that occurred on the West Branch Road Saturday morning, December 18.
The crash happened as Foster was traveling North on State Route 2002, the West Branch Road. Police say he lost control of his 2002 Chevrolet S-10 and drove off the East side of the roadway before striking a utility pole, sheering it in half approximately 2 feet above ground level.
Foster, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured in the crash.
The airbags in Foster’s vehicle deployed and it suffered disabling damage.
Foster will be charged with (not) Driving Vehicle at a Safe Speed.
