Avoid iPad, iPhone in-game purchases

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There is a consumer alert for anyone who owns an iPad or iPhone, especially if you have children.

There’s a warning going around for the children’s game “The Smurfs Village,” an application that’s downloaded for free.

What’s not free is the “smurfberries” that can be purchased in the game with a simple touch of the screen.
