Bachmann Drops after Iowa Flop

Republican Presidential hopeful and Ames Straw Poll winner Michele Bachmann has suspended her White House campaign amid a poor showing at the Iowa Caucuses last night.

Bachmann told supporters she has “decided to stand aside”, saying she leaves the race knowing it was run “with integrity”.

She also called for her supporters to stand behind the party’s eventual nominee.

Bachmann’s dropout leaves her supporters up for grabs as Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and the instant-popular Rick Santorum vie for every voter going into New Hampshire’s primary next week.
