BBC News On Strike

A dispute over pensions has led thousands of BBC journalists to walk off of the job in part of a 48-hour strike.
4100 BBC staffers are represented by the National Union of Journalists, who voted to reject the last pension offer by the BBC. Another 48-hour strike has been planned for November 15 – 16.
BBC has since scrambled to put together a basic news service, with come programs being canceled, and others replaced by recordings.
