Belmont Home Lost in Fire

A fire Friday morning at the back of a Hood Rood house destroyed the structure, Belmont Fire Chief Ben McCaslin said.

McCaslin Saturday said he didn’t have any information on the cause. It happened at the William Bunnell residence, 4986 Hood Road. Firefighters were on scene for seven hours. The call came in at about 3:25 a.m. and they returned to service at 10:28 a.m. This was the third fire reported in Allegany County this week.
