Bill Clinton: Give Democratic Policies 2 Years

NANTICOKE, Pa. — Americans should give Democratic economic policies at least two more years to work before they consider turning over control of Congress to Republicans, former President Clinton said at a campaign rally Tuesday.
Clinton, who came to this northeastern Pennsylvania community in an attempt to bolster 13-term U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski’s re-election prospects, traced many of the nation’s current economic problems to actions take during the GOP administration George W. Bush.
“What we’re asking you to do is just give us two more years. … Give us half the time you gave the Republicans to dig the hole we’re trying to get out of,” Clinton said.
