Bill Eliminating Back Tags for PA Hunters Passes Senate
1 min readHARRISBURG – A Bill that would eliminate the requirement for hunters to wear a back tag, has passed the Senate.
The repeal Bill, which is sponsored by York Republican Keith Gillespie, passed by a vote of 46 to 3.
The Game Commission says they also support the legislation, citing that hunters often lose their licenses when navigating through thick underbrush.
The Bill now goes to Governor Tom Corbett who says he will sign it.
