Bill Expanding PA’s Fire and EMS Company Grants Heads to House

[podcast]http://media2.pahousegop.com/Audio/928524885.mp3[/podcast]Legislation to expand support for the state’s popular Fire and EMS Grant Program was unanimously approved by committee action this week in Harrisburg and will now head to the full House for a vote.

Rep. Stephen Barrar (R-Delaware), Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Services Committee, said his bill would both expand the number of fire and EMS companies that qualify for the grants and increase the amount of funding available for these community based volunteers.
