Blood Drive June 22 at Gunzburger Building

COUDERSPORT – Members of the public are welcome to join county employees in donating blood during the next visit of the Community Blood Bank to the Gunzburger County Office Building in Coudersport. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, June 22, from 11 am to 5 pm. No appointment is necessary. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in generally good health. Photo identification is required.
Blood supplies traditionally dwindle from June through August, due to vacations and other activities taking place during the summer. Each pint of blood donated has the potential to benefit as many as four cancer patients, accident victims, surgical patients or others in need.
