Blues Great Coming to Dam Show

Billy Branch, one of America’s truly great blues harmonica players, will travel from Chicago with the Sons of Blues to play the Dam Show music festival at Austin, PA on Saturday.
Branch has won multiple W.C. Handy awards and has garnered two Grammy nominations. He is the founder of the Chicago Blues in Schools program, which provides instruments and lessons from professional musicians. Some of those students open the Chicago Blues Festival every year. The world-traveled Sons of Blues Band includes Billy Branch on harp; Dan Coscarelly, guitar; Ariyo, piano; Nick Charles, bass; and, Mose Rutues, drums. They all share vocals.
The Sons of Blues set is scheduled for 7:30 PM on the square in downtown Austin. Information about the two-day festival is available at damshow.com.
