Boys and Girls Club Luau Called a Success
1 min readThe Boys and Girls Club of Potter County had a successful event this past Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Coudersport Area High School. The youth participated in various contests ranging from the limbo, musical towels, and many others. Contest prizes were donated by local businesses.
Thanks to all who helped and donated: Northwest Savings Bank, Lagrew Printing, Gauld’s Corner Store, Sheetz, Walt Miles Salvage and Trucking, Thompson Design, Fox’s Pizza Den, Coudersport Theatre, Sarah Wright, Boys and Girls Club Vice President George Dubots, anyone I may have forgotten to list, and to The Coudersport Rotary representatives Mike Heroux and Smitty who were the evening’s judges.
The next Boys and Girls Club Event will take place during the Maple Festival by hosting an obstacle course. If anyone is interested in becoming involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Potter County attend the next committee meeting on April 20th at Erway’s Restaurant at 7:30 AM.
