Potter County Boys and Girls Club is moving forward. The organization will sponsor “Rockin’ The Square,” a back-to-school dance on Friday (Aug. 20) at the courthouse square gazebo from 6:30 to 9 pm. It’s open to all area young people.
Boys and Girls Club Of Potter County is an organization that will offer programs and services to enhance development by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. The club will provide a safe place to learn and grow –- all while having fun.
Although groundwork has been laid, donations are needed to build a sufficient treasury to launch the club. Contributions can be dropped off or mailed to Nancy Grupp, Northwest Savings Bank, 302 N. East St., Coudersport PA 16915. Checks should be made out to Boys & Girls Club of Potter County.

There is one thing that I have heard since I was young, “there isn’t anything for kids to do around here.”
Lets change that. The Boys & Girls club is a great way to get our local youth involved in positive activities.
