One of two men accused or murdering pregnant Bradford woman pleads guilty

BRADFORD – Greggory Theobald(pictured left), a self proclaimed Vampire and ICP (Insane Clown Posse) enthusiast, 21, of Elmira was one of two men accused of murdering a pregnant Bradford woman in September at the Riddell House.

Theobald pleaded guilty in part of a plea bargain deal that will send him to prison for two life sentences. The plea bargain was part of deal that would keep McKean County District Attorney Ray Learn from seeking the death penalty.

Theobald will be sentenced in August.

Thomas Haggie, 29, of Bradford was also implicated in the murder of Megan Konopka and her unborn child.

Megan Konopka was 8 months pregnant when she was murdered.

Haggie and Theobald sent photos of the victim and the murder scene to a woman in California, who then called police. Police identified background details in the photos as the Riddell House, and soon found her body there.

Haggie shrugged off comments in his initial hearing and reportedly said, “I want a speedy trial. Any way you look at it I’m screwed”.

The case against Haggie is still pending.
