Bradford Police Arrest Fleeing Driver

A traffic stop on York Street in Bradford, PA, turned into a pursuit on December 12, 2025, when the driver, Jennifer Lee Coldren, failed to stop and fled the area. Officer Blair initiated the stop, but Coldren’s vehicle sped away, prompting a chase into Foster Township’s Bolivar Drive. With assistance from Foster Township Police, City of Bradford Police Officers pursued the vehicle, which was eventually abandoned in a residential front yard.

Coldren, 45, was apprehended after a brief foot chase into a nearby residence. A subsequent search of her vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia, and it was determined that she was driving under the influence of controlled substances. Coldren faces multiple charges, including fleeing and eluding, possession of paraphernalia, careless driving, and driving under the influence.

Chief Michael P. Ward of the City of Bradford Police Department emphasized the department’s commitment to addressing DUI and traffic offenses, stating that such behavior poses a significant threat to community safety. Coldren was arraigned by Magistrate William Todd and remanded to McKean County Jail on $25,000 bail, with preliminary hearings scheduled. The City of Bradford Police Department encourages anyone with information to contact them at 814-887-4911.

The incident highlights the importance of vigilant law enforcement in maintaining public safety. The combination of fleeing and eluding, DUI, and narcotics involvement underscores the complexities of addressing traffic offenses and the need for proactive measures to prevent such incidents.
