Bradford Woman Arrested

A 28-year-old woman from Bradford, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody by the City of Bradford Police Department on December 15, 2025. Jordan Mercedes Kornacki was arrested after allegedly making terroristic threats against staff at Bradford Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room.

According to the police report, Kornacki called 911 and threatened to become violent with the medical staff. When officers arrived at the scene, she continued to make threats, despite repeated warnings to calm down. The situation escalated, and Kornacki was eventually taken into custody after requesting to be taken to jail.

During the arrest, Kornacki made further threats to harm the medical staff, including stabbing or punching them. A search of her person revealed a small amount of cocaine, THC marijuana, and related paraphernalia. As a result, she was charged with terroristic threats, harassment, possession of controlled substances, and possession of paraphernalia.

Kornacki was arraigned by Magistrate William Todd and released on $15,000 cash bail. Preliminary hearings are scheduled in the matter. The City of Bradford Police Department takes incidents of this nature very seriously and is committed to ensuring the safety of medical staff and the community.
