BREAKING: Man and Woman Arrested following Standoff near Wellsville
1 min readSTANNARDS, N.Y. – According to the Wellsville Daily Reporter, a man and woman responsible for leading police on an early morning chase and engaging New York State Police officers with gunfire, have been arrested.
The arrests came at approximately 3:30 p.m., after a short standoff at Level Acres Trailer Park in Stannards, New York, which is near Wellsville.
Reports indicate a SWAT team accompanied by National Guard members apprehended the unidentified man and woman after propelling tear gas into a trailer. Witnesses reported hearing three separate blasts during the time.
The Wellsville Daily Reporter says the woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
