Burglars Dishevel Homes, Steal Nothing
1 min readAUSTIN – State Police in Coudersport say two Austin homes were broken into, but nothing was stolen. The burglars forcefully entered the homes and appear to have gone through contents inside before fleeing the scene, according to police.
The homes, owned by 78-year-old Clark E. Taylor, of Lancaster, PA and 65-year-old Jack D. Zaluski, Jr., of Austin, PA, were broken into sometime between Jan. 6 – 13.
Police say both residences were under caretaker supervision at the time of the break-ins.
An investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 814-274-8690.

Sorry, my mistake. Disheveled is not a verb. I was pressed for time while writing the article and the official police report used the word disheveled as a verb. While I knew it wasn’t right at the time, I used it, for lack of a better term, in an attempt to get the news out quickly for all our loyal and appreciative readers, such as yourself.
