Carolyn Jane Parris, 63, of, Smethport

Carolyn Jane Parris, 63, of, Smethport, died Thursday January 13, 2011 in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.

She was born July 8, 1947 in St. Mary’s, a daughter of Kenneth C. and Betty Wertz Dudley, On August 21, 1965 in Port Allegany; she married Thomas Parris, who died June26, 1990.

Mrs. Parris was a graduate of Port Allegany High School, and was employed by Ethan Allen in Eldred

She is survived by
five sons: William Parris of Bradford, PA, Thomas Parris, Jr. of Smethport, PA, Scott Parris of Smethport, PA, Damin Parris of Smethport, PA, Michael Carpenter of Smethport, PA
Step mother Cleda Dudley of Port Allegany and 8 grandchildren
2 step brothers Edward (Cherryl) Fink of McAllen, Texas, Lloyd (Barbara) Fink of Port Allegany
2 step sisters Leona (Duane) Ostrum of Emporium and Vera Stuckey of McAllen TX and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her sister Donna Dudley

Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 from 11-1pm in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc 105 N Main St., Port Allegany where funeral and committal service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev Michael Culver, pastor First Baptist of Port Allegany officiating .Burial will be at in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
