Cash Stolen from Truck at Downey’s Restaurant

ULYSSES – State Police say they are investigating the theft of currency from a truck parked at Downey’s Restaurant in Ulysses.

Police say someone entered a silver 2010 Toyota Tacoma, owned by 58-year-old Bessie McPherson, of Ulysses, PA, and removed a known amount of US currency from within a compartment in the dashboard of the truck, before exiting the vehicle and fleeing the scene.
