Causer Announces Eighth Annual Senior Citizens Expo
1 min readRep. Martin Causer (R-Turtlepoint) is inviting area senior citizens and their families to his Eighth Annual Senior Citizens Expo on Friday, Aug. 13, at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Sports and Fitness Building gymnasium.
The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and lunch will be provided.
“The positive feedback on our Senior Citizens Expo has been overwhelming, and people come back to it year after year,” Causer said. “I encourage area seniors who haven’t checked out the expo in the past to join us this year. I think they’ll find it’s very worthwhile.”
State, county and local vendors will be on hand to distribute information and answer questions. Information about health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, fire safety, financial planning, fraud protection, government services, hunting/fishing and personal safety will be available. Health screenings will also be offered, and door prizes will be awarded.
People who cannot attend the expo in Bradford will have another chance when Causer hosts his second event on Friday, Oct. 8, at the Roulette Fire Hall in Roulette.
