CCMH Announces New Years Baby

Coudersport, PA – Charles Cole Memorial Hospital’s (CCMH) maternity unit welcomed Potter County’s first baby of 2012 on January 4 at 5:50 p.m.  A baby girl, Millie Jean Reisinger, weighing seven pounds, 10.7 ounces and 20.5 inches in length, was born to the proud parents of Blue Sheerer and Tylor Reisinger of the Galeton area.  This is their first child and she was delivered by Max Laurore, MD, obstetrician and gynecologist from the Women’s Health Center at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

“It’s exciting to be a new Mom,” says Blue Sheerer. “And, I didn’t think I would have one of the first babies of 2012.”

Among the first gifts the baby received from the hospital was a $100 U.S. Savings Bond and a $25 gift certificate from the Looking Glass Gift Shop at Charles Cole Memorial.  Several local businesses also presented gifts to the family.

Approximately, 265 babies are delivered annually at CCMH. The maternity unit and the Women’s Health Center at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital offer comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care and screenings. A staff of over twenty obstetricians, gynecologists, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses and support staff provide experienced and expert women’s health care within the hospital’s 65-mile service area including central Pennsylvania and New York’s southern tier.
