Charles Cole to Offer Free Vaccines

Charles Cole Memorial Hospital and the Potter County Area Agency on Aging, through a grant by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, will provide seasonal influenza (flu) and pneumoccocal (pneumonia) vaccines at no cost to Potter County adults this fall. This year’s flu vaccine includes protection against seasonal and H1N1 influenza.

The immunization clinics are open to all Potter County adults 60 and older or those 18 and older who are considered high risk due to diabetes, lung, heart, kidney or liver disease, cancer, anemia, immune system, muscle or nerve disorders, pregnancy or long term steroid treatment.

Clinics will be held in the following communities:

  • October 29 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Roulette Human Services
  • November 1 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m.,  Oswayo Valley Senior Center
  • November 3 – 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Coudersport Senior Center
  • November 4 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Genesee United Methodist Church; 2-5 p.m., Harrison Valley Community Building
  • November 6 – 7-10 a.m., Oswayo Valley Elementary School
  • November 9 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Ulysses Senior Center
  • November 10 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Galeton Senior Center
  • November 15 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Austin Firehall
  • November 16 – 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Coudersport Wellness Center (pending available vaccine)
  • November 17 – 4-7 p.m., Coudersport Wellness Center (pending available vaccine)
