Child Passenger Safety-Seat Check Point

COUDERSPORT – State Police have announced a child passenger safety-seat check point to take place on Tuesday, November 22 between 2 – 6 p.m. at the Coudersport State Police Barracks, State Route 6, Denton Hill, 3140 East 2nd Street, Coudersport.

Police say they are conducting the program in participation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “Click It or Ticket” campaign.

The goal of the campaign is to increase safety belt use, as wells as child safety seat use rates throughout the Commonwealth.

Those attending should bring their child safety-seat, vehicle manual and child safety-seat instructions. The check should take approximately 20 to 30 minutes per seat.
