ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) – Every Indian tribe in New York state now has temporary protection from New York state tax collectors, thanks to a ruling from a federal judge in Albany.
U.S. district judge Lawrence Kahn has banned the state from taxing cigarette sales until at least October 1st.
