State Police have released details of a fiery four-vehicle accident that killed a Clymer, New York woman Tuesday afternoon in eastern Erie County. The Erie County Coroner’s Office says 35 year-old Wanda Gibbons was burned beyond recognition in the crash, which happened Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Routes 89 and 430 in Greenfield Township. Gibbon’s van was stopped behind another stopped vehicle when a water tanker was unable to stop and struck Gibbon’s van from behind. The van burst into flames. The driver of the water tanker, 33 year-old Gordon Young III of Warren, was not injured.
