Woman Gets Probation for Obstruction Charge

Karen M. Dick was sentenced February 29th, 2012 in the Court of Common Pleas of Potter County, Pennsylvania, Docket No. 240-2011, Criminal Division as follows:

  • As to Count 3: Obstruction Admin. Law/Other… – A term of probation of 24 months and pay fine of $500.00.
  • The defendant shall pay the costs of the court. The defendant shall pay a supervision fee of $25 per month and administrative fee of $20 per month for all time spent on probation.
  • The defendant shall perform 20 hours of community service for Potter County and be responsible for the cost of insurance regarding his/her participation.  OR
  • The defendant will make a monetary donation to the Food Bank in lieu of performing 20 hours of community service.  Dollar amount will be set by Probation.
  • The defendant is sentenced to take part in the Potter County Victim Impact Panel Presentation to be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the courtroom.  The defendant will pay a fee of $35 to defray cost, payable in full at the time of the presentation.  The defendant’s participation and attendance are mandatory.
  • Defendant will take part in parenting classes at discretion of Probation.
