Computer Education Classes Offered at Five Local Sites

Have you ever wanted to be able to fix your own computer, create basic spreadsheets, effectively navigate the internet, work on a basic Word document, or put together a slide presentation? There are many opportunities to obtain low-cost computer training through a series of classes being offered by the Potter County Education Council. Training on skills that are required for many functions in the modern office is being offered in five communities, as follows:
- Coudersport: June 28, Computer First Aid, 9-noon; June 30, Vista 6, 9 am.
- Galeton: June 23, Outlook 1, 6-9 pm; June 30, Outlook 2, 6-9 pm.
- Port Allegany: June 22, Word 1, 9-noon; excel 1, 1-4 pm.
- Shinglehouse: June 24, Excel 2, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
- Northern Potter: June 22, Internet 1, 1-4 pm, Internet 2, 5:30-8:30 pm; June 29, PowerPoint 1, 1-4 pm, PowerPoint 2, 5:30-8:30 pm.
