Computer Education Courses Offered At Five Locations

Have you ever wanted to be able to fix your own computer, create basic spreadsheets, effectively navigate the internet, work on a basic Word document, or put together a slide presentation? There are many opportunities to obtain low-cost computer training through a series of classes being offered by the Potter County Education Council. Training on skills that are required for many functions in the modern office is being offered as follows:
- Coudersport: Wednesday, Aug. 25, Excel 4, 9 am to noon; Publisher 2, 6-9 pm; Sept. 1, Computer First Aid, 9 am to noon; Vista 6, 6-9 pm; Sept. 8, PowerPoint 1, 9 am to noon, PowerPoint 2, 6-9 pm.
- Galeton: Wednesday, Aug. 25, Publisher 4, 9 am to noon and 1-4 pm; Sept. 1, Outlook 3, 9 am to noon, Access 3, 1-4 pm; Sept. 8, Outlook 4, 9 am to noon; Access 4, 1-4 pm.
- Port Allegany: Tuesday, Aug. 24, Publisher 1, 9 am to noon; Publisher 2, 1-4 pm; Aug. 31, PowerPoint 1, 9 am to noon; PowerPoint 2, 1-4 pm; Sept. 2, Internet 1, 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
- Oswayo Valley: Thursday, Aug. 26, Word 1, 5:30 to 8:30 pm; Sept. 2, Word 2, 5:30 to 8:30 pm; Sept. 9, PowerPoint 1, 5:30 to 8:30 pm; Sept. 16, PowerPoint 2, 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
