Coudersport Fire under Investigation by State Fire Marshal
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – An apartment fire in Coudersport is currently under investigation by Borough Police and the PA State Police Fire Marshal Unit.
Police say the fire at an apartment complex at 109 Allegany Avenue started sometime between 2:30 and 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 5. The fire is believed to have originated near an exterior porch that leads into apartment #1, before spreading to an exterior wall.
The fire, which apparently extinguished itself, was later discovered by tenants Shamen Snyder, age 21, and Kyla Duell, age 21.
Police say all three apartments in the building, owned by Branch Property, LLC, of Coudersport, are currently occupied.
Police say no one was injured in the fire and damages were estimated at $500.
