Coudersport Man Faces Slew of Charges after Fleeing Scene of Accident
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – A Coudersport man faces a slew of Summary offenses after he fled an accident that occurred in the Borough of Coudersport on January 1.
State Police say 26-year-old George E. Musto, of Coudersport, attempted to make a right turn onto Allegany Avenue from Mill Street, but was unable to negotiate the turn due to driving too fast. Subsequently, Musto’s 1998 Jeep Cherokee traveled off the West side of the road and impacted a culvert. Musto then fled the scene of the accident.
Police later located Musto on January 3rd and charged him with numerous Summary offenses including: Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended or Revoked, Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages, Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property, Registration of Certificate and Title, Unauthorized Transfer or Sale of Registration, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, Operation of Vehicle Without Official Certificate of Inspection, Immediate Notice of Accident to Police and Required Financial Responsibility.
