Coudersport Teen and Passenger Uninjured in Rt. 6 Crash
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – A Coudersport teenager escaped injury after a crash along Route 6 near the Allegany Campground on February 19.
Police say 19-year-old Corry W. Gaberseck was traveling east when his GMC Sierra left the southbound berm of the roadway and struck a utility pole with the passenger’s bed side. The SUV then continued in an easterly direction, striking a sign owned by Allegany Campground, before going airborne and striking another utility pole head-on, shearing the pole off. Gaberseck’s SUV then continued in an easterly direction, before coming to a final rest on the southern berm, facing northeast.
Police said a 17-year-old male passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash was also uninjured.
Roulette Fire and EMS, Medic 6, Coudersport Fire and Kightlingers Motors assisted state police at the scene.
