Coudersport Teen Suffers Minor Injury in Baker Creek Accident

HEBRON TWP. – State Police report they investigated a crash which occurred on November 19 at approximately 10:27 pm.
According to police a 17-year-old male was traveling north on the Baker Creek Road in a 2008 Subaru, when he swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. As a result, the driver’s vehicle crossed into the other lane and then exited the roadway. The driver then attempted to correct the vehicle but lost control. His car then traveled back across the roadway, struck an embankment, spun around clockwise and struck the embankment again before coming to rest in the middle of the road.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Coudersport Memorial Hospital.
Coudersport Volunteer Ambulance and Fire Department assisted at the scene. The car was towed by Kightlinger Motors.
