Coudersport Woman Charged with Simple Trespassing
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – Marie M. Knight, age 38, of Coudersport, PA, will be charged with trespassing after she allegedly gained entry into the residence of 34-year-old Monica R. Musser, of Roulette, PA, and made threatening statements towards Musser.
Police say the incident happened on Third Street in Roulette on July 11 at 10:20 pm.
Knight will face charges in Barbara J. Easton’s courtroom.
What does “simple” refer to? The woman who trespassed or the ease with which she entered the abode?
She was charged with Simple Trespassing.
Simple trespasser.–
(1) A person commits an offense if, knowing that he is not licensed or privileged to do so, he enters or remains in any place for the purpose of:
(i) threatening or terrorizing the owner or occupant of the premises;
(ii) starting or causing to be started any fire upon the premises; or
(iii) defacing or damaging the premises.
(2) An offense under this subsection constitutes a summary offense.
