County Employees Collecting For Food Bank, Pet Rescue

Members of the labor union representing many county employees at the courthouse, Gunzburger Building and satellite offices have launched a holiday charity drive. They are collecting items for the Coudersport Food Bank and Teachers Pet Rescue. The employees’ union is also planning fund-raisers for Christmas House and the Potter County Area Agency “Meals On Wheels” program during its Christmas Party, including an auction and 50/50 drawing.

Bins have been placed in the lobbies of the Gunzburger Building and the courthouse for donations as follows:

• Coudersport Food Bank: Canned goods and other non-perishable food items to be distributed to the needy.
• Teachers Pet Rescue: Paper towels, blankets, towels, sheets, cleaning supplies, pet toys, treats, leashes and quality dog food.
