Cow Killed in Early Morning Collision
1 min readSWEDEN TWP. – A cow owned by Leroy White, of Coudersport, was killed this morning after it entered Route 6 from the Northern side of the road and was struck by a Peterbilt tractor-trailer, according to police.
Sweden Township Chief of Police Bryan Phelps said the crash happened just after 4:30 a.m. this morning.
The tractor-trailer, a 1994 Peterbilt, owned by Richard Baldwin, of Little Genesee, NY, suffered moderate front passenger-side damage in the collision.
The tractor-trailer was able to be driven from the scene. The cow was removed by its owner.
