Dayton, NY Fire Chief Arrested

FREDONIA – The Fire Chief for the town of Dayton, NY in Cattaraugus County, has been arrested on charges of Assault in 3rd degree, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Richard D. Ulmer Jr., of Fredonia, was arrested Saturday as the result of a domestic disturbance incident.
He was released on his recognizance, and is scheduled to appear in court on July 15.
