Dept. 46 Medic 6 Dispatched

At 6:28 pm Roulette Dept. 46 Medic 6 was dispatched for a 2yr. old child with severe head trauma at 46 Maple St. in Roulette.

The child was kicked by a horse.  Officials are determining availability of a medical helicopter.

Medical helicopter will be landing at Buckler Trucking in Roulette at approx. 6:59 pm

7:00 pm Helicopter is on the ground

STATE TROOPERS HAVE BEEN REQUESTED as a possible large fight has been reported on MAPLE ST, in Roulette, near the incident.

Update

Patient was transferred to Geisinger Medical Center. No other information available about the possible fight.

Update June 17

According to a comment on Jim Jones’ blog, Solomon’s Words for the Wise, the child is expected to make a full recovery. The boy’s grandmother wrote in saying that her grandson, Chase, was released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. He suffered several fractures (skull and jaw), and will still need to see doctors in the future. The boy’s grandmother thanked Roulette Fire Dept. and Lifenet 77.
