INCIDENT SUMMARY: As of 4:30 pm this date.
Emergency Corrective Actions & Debris removal being conducted as Sandy moves through Potter and Surrounding Counties.
Drivers urged to use caution as there are numerous trees & Limbs down in the many areas in Potter County. State & Municipal Officials are working to clean up debris.

UTILITY OUTAGES: Approximately 25 customers remain without power (West Penn Power, Penelec & Tri-County REC), unable to give estimate on
when power will be restored.
OTHER DISASTER IMPACTS
All Fire companies and Ambulance companies manned their stations during the night and into Tuesday morning assisting with debris removal, traffic control, power interruptions, and any emergencies that arose.
WEATHER FORECAST
Remnants of SANDY will move through the county and into upstate NY this evening. Winds will continue to subside with a few rain showers tonight into Wednesday.
INITIAL DAMAGE ASSESSMENT: Municipal & county officials performing damage assessments. Please turn into DES office as soon as feasible.
COUNTY GOVERNMENT PRIORITIES:
Provide support to local municipal governments and emergency services.
Provide current and accurate disaster information and recommendations to the public.
Coordinate damage assessments in declared municipalities impacted by this event.
Coordinate protective measures for potential evacuations due to loss of critical infrastructure.
