Details of Slain Game Commission Officer Released
1 min readFARFIELD, PA – Police have released the identity of the PA Game Commission officer who was killed in the line of duty last night.
31-year-old Wildlife Conservation Officer David Grove was shot and killed last night after investigating reports of night-time shooting and possible poaching attempts in Freedom Township.
Grove is the first PA Game Commission officer to have been killed in the line of duty since 1915.
Police are currently searching for Christopher Lynn Johnson, who is listed as a person of interest in the shooting.
Police say Johnson may be wounded and in need of medical attention.
He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
