Detour Planned for One Day Pipe Work in Potter County
1 min readSHINGLEHOUSE – Work to replace a large pipe on Route 4021 (Honeoye Road) in Potter County is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10, and a detour will be in place. The work zone is located in Sharon Township just south of the New York state line and the detour will use some roads in New York State.
In order to replace the current pipe, Route 4021 will be closed on Sept. 10 from
7 a.m. until 5 p.m. The roadway will be re-opened sooner than 5 p.m. if work progress allows.
A detour will be in place for the day. The official detour is approximately25 miles and makes use of the following routes: PA Route 4021 (Honeoye Road) – which becomes New York County Road 18, New York County Road 38, New York County Road 29 — which becomes PA Route 4023 Eleven Mile Road), and PA Route 4014 (Plank Road).
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work zone as necessary but delays for are possible. Emergency vehicles may wish to use alternate routes. All work is weather and schedule dependent.
Drivers are reminded to follow official detour signs, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
