Domestic Violence Awareness Vigil Oct. 15
1 min readPotter County’s domestic violence and sexual abuse prevention agency will sponsor a candlelight vigil at 6 pm Monday, Oct. 15, at the Coudersport Arboretum. A Way Out holds the quiet observance each year to mark October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Speakers will mourn those who have died because of domestic violence, celebrate those who have survived, and connect those who are working to prevent it. A Way Out also welcomes volunteers to help the agency answer its 24-hour help line and assist with educational events and fundraising. More information is available at 274-0368.
