Donald Burnett Willard 95, of Derrick City, went to be with his heavenly father on November 28, 2010.

Born July 16, 1915 in Hinsdale NY, he was a son of the late Roy Ambrose and Nina Pearl (Morse) Willard. He was a 1934 graduate of Bradford High School.
On March 30, 1945 in Derrick City he married the love of his life, Florence Louise (Curtis) Willard who survives.
A lifelong resident of the area, he worked in the local oil fields, and later at Dresser Manufacturing Company , retiring in 1981 after 41 years of devoted service. He was also a partime clerk for the Derrick City Post Office for over 30 years.
He was member of the Masonic Lodge # 555 of Duke Center, the Coudersport Consistory, and McKean Count Shrine Club. He was a founding charter member of the Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department. He and his wife were involved in many activities including playing their accordians for many area churches and functions. He was a devote christian who was  humbly blessed to share the word of the Lord and lead many to Christ.
He will be greatly missed by his family who were blessed to have him in their lives. His greatest source of satisfaction and pride was his loving family, who he loved spending time with.
Surviving is his wife Florence, one daughter Darlene L. (Edward J.) Lyons of Duke Center, two sons: Francis B. (Marilyn J. Kornacki) Willard of Lewis Run, and Roy G. Willard of Dearing GA, six grandchildren: Dorette (Robert) McCracken, Donya (Nate) Mealy, Christy (William) Hawthorne, Crystal Willard, Matthew B. Willard, and Mark D. Willard, six great grandchildren:  Gage E. Lyons-McCracken, Colten L. McCracken, Tynan J. McCracken, Brittany N. Jamison, Aiden F. Willard, and Hattie L. Mealy, two nephews: Todd and Tim Willard.
He was preceded in death by  one sister Tessie Anderson, six brothers: Ches, Herald, Harry, Lloyd, Burnett, and Gerald “Boney” Willard, and many nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends on Friday December 3, 2010 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. East Main St. and again on Saturday December 4, 2010 from 11:00am to Noon in the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church at which time funeral and committal services will be held at Noon with Rev. Phillip Palutro, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Hinsdale NY.
