Early Morning Fire Possible Suicide

HORTON TWP. – A fire on Rattlesnake Road in Horton Township, Jefferson County, early this morning, is being investigated as a possible suicide.

Authorities believe 56-year-old Michael Barry, of Brockport, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, after lighting his home on fire.

An official autopsy is not yet complete.

Damages to the home were estimated at $50,000.
